XCEL face biometric capture enables accurate biometric acquisition by employing a smartphone's built-in camera, evaluating and improving the quality of the recorded photos, doing a liveness check, and then packaging and sending the data for verification or registration in seconds. Our technology conducts facial capture with quality assessment in less than 100 msec. When a person shows an image or a video instead of a real face during capture, the built-in liveness recognition detects it and prevents fraudulent efforts.
